The above shows three areas of concentration of TreeFrogClick services.
Marketers shouldn’t miss the growth of Facebook ads
Hold onto your hats – Facebook announced that its ad revenue soared 57% in the last year, showing the marketing world that the media giant needs to be paid attention to.
Its revenue increased from $3.3 billion to $5.2 billion in the first quarter of this year compared to last. Four-fifths of that is due to mobile ads, the Wall Street Journal reported.
And earlier this week, Facebook increased the muscle power of what are called dynamic ads. This is Facebook’s way of sending ads to a company’s website visitors when they go to Facebook. The social media company will now be able to target people depending on how long they spend on a website, how many pages they visit, or which products they look at.
They’re pumping marketing iron, wouldn’t you say?
Another feature that is often overlooked is called custom audiences, in which a list of emails or phone numbers are uploaded and matched with Facebook’s signup information. To top it off, these custom audiences can be matched to other similar Facebook users. These are called lookalike audiences. Let me tell you, Facebook’s lookalike feature has matured greatly over the months.
Are you using these advanced features? Have you tried Facebook advertising in the past, and found them lacking? How finely tuned was your ad system? Did you hire someone who did not take advantage of these special features?
Here at TreeFrogClick we recently garnered more than fifty newsletter signups in four days for a nonprofit with the promise of a free prayer card. The cost was only $1.44 in ad spend (funds sent to Facebook). Not only were names and emails gathered, but street addresses as well. This allows for great follow-up opportunities. For another client, we got 48 names and emails for $4 in ad spend per name! Can you beat that? Although no ad campaign can guarantee results, we challenge you to find out if you can.
